Welcome to the official site of the Miss South Carolina Black International Pageant. Also known as Miss Black South Carolina.
The program provides an opportunity for young women to develop their confidence, and leadership ability. As women of color, we need an opportunity to be in the majority and not the minority. Being a woman of color makes us unique. We have our own sense of style, our own way of being and our own sense of sisterhood.
When My Sister’s Keeper Ministry of Restoration started in the late 1990’s, our goal was and continues to be a resource for young women can get opportunities to empower themselves. We decided to use the avenue of pageantry to further our community service efforts. Through their platforms, Queens in the program can reach communities all across the state of South Carolina. Because we are community based and focused, we strive to make entering our program affordable to everyone.
As we continue to grow, we look forward to crowning many young women with local titles and one young lady as Miss Black South Carolina. We look forward to you being a part of our family.
